Designing Your Document

In the field of technical writing, document design plays an important role. The writer must know how to design each specific document to convey the information clearly and concisely. Technical writers will deal with memos, flyers, cover letters, resumes, and proposals, to name a few. All of which have different formats and designs that should be followed. That does not address the design components of developing a website or a blog. These are all pieces of knowledge necessary to become a proficient technical writer.
